CONVENTIONS
The APWS annual conventions are held in the fall of each
year, and provide excellent opportunities for getting to
know other members better.
Some of the features include membership meeting, board
meeting, speakers, tours, awards banquet, raffle, and other
items of special interest.
Those that attend the conventions enjoy them each year
and always look forward to them with great
anticipation.
The 2006 Convention was held in Paducah, KY and the 2007
Convention was held in Salt Lake City, UT.

Letter From The President of APWS
Dear APWS Members:
On behalf of the Officers and Directors of APWS, I am
inviting you to attend the 2006 Convention in Paducah
Kentucky.
Attending the Convention is a fun and rewarding
experience that I am sure you would enjoy. Getting to visit
with our fellow members, seeing the various sites unique to
the area and attending the various functions scheduled for
us is well worth the cost.
I consider a Convention to be a celebration and a
planning event. We celebrate the success we had throughout
out the year and we address those issues that we face in the
future.
This year brought on many new challenges with the
retirement of Lloyd and Bev Ure however we need to celebrate
that we had capable people to step in and take over their
responsibilities.
The majority of the business decisions for APWS are made
at the convention.
If you have any suggestions to improve APWS or have any
concerns please contact the appropriate Director so that
item can be brought to the Boards attention.

Please take the time to recognize members who are
putting forth that extra effort helping fellow members and
friends, by nominating them for the Outstanding Service
Award.
If you know of someone that is having or has had
outstanding results raising birds, please nominate them for
a Breeder Award.
